Seconds overview

Unfortunately, there is always a lot of second choice especially in porcelain production. This is unavoidable and the same for all manufacturers. Disposing of wonderful premium products with tiny flaws is the opposite of sustainable and is not at all in keeping with the Albanine & Knuffl® style. That is why we are offering our 2nd choice at a reduced price. The imperfections are purely cosmetic, the functionality and quality are not affected in any way. Buying our seconds is sustainability in action.

We categorise seconds into B1 and B2 - depending on the severity of the blemish. We do not even offer truly defective products, i.e. C goods or 3rd choice.

B1:
The Katzenteller für Katzen® (Cat Plate for Cats) has one or two tiny blemishes - for example a small dot on the front or slight colour streaks on the back.

B2:
The Katzenteller für Katzen® (Cat Plate for Cats), for example, has a rough, slightly interrupted foot (foot ring).

You will then see a ‘B1’ or ‘B2’ after the article name for the corresponding articles.

We classify our Drinking Bowls for Cats and our Silicone Placemats for Cats according to the same principle/scheme.
